Experimental post-punk and folky undertones from Los Angeles.
Named after a small town located between their hometown and Fresno, California, Earlimart's unconventional songwriting structure resulted in many comparisons to The Pixies, Sonic Youth, X and Sparklehorse.
This attention resulted in a deal with Devil In The Woods Records, who eventually released their debut album ‘Filthy Doorways Kingdom of Champions’ in the 2000.
The second full-length album, ‘Everyone Down Here’, followed in 2003 with the track ‘Burning The Cow’ leading the way. Earlimart still continue to tour and record.
